| On Tuesday 14th November 2023, Bro Paul Raymond Doherty of St George Mark Lodge, No 553 was advanced into St George Lodge of R. A. M. by his W. Bro Peter Leonard Craven, the Commander, who is his father-in-law. | |

| The advancement was a perfect example of teamwork by all the members of the lodge. | |

| The Director W Bro Wilfred Spencer P. Prov R.A.M.G.R took on the task of the Ceremony, there were some stand-in officers on the evening. This was because of illness and other commitments of the Brethren. | |

| This has proven how valuable good teamwork is essential in the lodge. Brother Paul was happy that he had joined St George lodge of Royal Arch Mariners. | |

| The ceremony was carried out in a truly sincere manner. During the festive board Paul’s humour was evident in response to the toast to his health. | |
